Welcome to the Greek School of Exeter

The Greek School of Exeter is a community-based school offering Greek language and culture classes to children aged 4 and above. It has been operating in Exeter for over ten years and serves as a branch of the Plymouth Parish School (Παροικιακό Σχολείο), under the aegis of the Cyprus Educational Mission (Κυπριακή Εκπαιδευτική Αποστολή – ΚΕΑ).

The school is managed by the Exeter Hellenic Parents Association, a non-profit organisation formed by parents and guardians with the aim of promoting the Greek language, culture, and heritage to younger generations. Teaching is guided by the curriculum set by the Cypriot Educational Authority and delivered by qualified educators in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Classes are held weekly during term time and are organised into six levels, from preschool to GCSE preparation. In addition to language learning, the school promotes values of cooperation, courtesy, and respect, and encourages students to engage with Greek cultural traditions through events and celebrations.
